Child Soldiers
I'm becoming more and more interested child soldiers in Africa. The most recent statistic I can currently find shows that there are 120,000 child soldiers in Africa. The actions that child soldiers are forced to engaged in are horrific to say the least. We must find ways to prevent children from being forced into military service and support those whom have had to endure it. Is anyone else interested in this subject? I am considering starting a local group in DC to educate myself and others about this issue and find solutions to this problem.

I'm really interested, but i feel very separate down here in Texas. I haven't met a lot of people who seem very interested in global issues=( Let me know what you learn though.
